A LITTLE CONTEXT

A shelf with a source.

Read the gameplay notes, check the controls, and follow the original creator link.

What is included

Oddplay helps you choose a small game using gameplay notes and creator sources. The initial collection consists of games whose creators publicly describe AI use in development. The first 15 listings come from original itch.io release pages, checked on 20 October 2026. Each has an author, a release link, a description of the player’s actions, and a source for the AI statement.

The collection covers different genres and stages of development, including prototypes and demos. Inclusion is an introduction to a game, not an award or a recommendation based on having played it. We write short summaries from the creator’s information rather than copying another directory’s descriptions.

What the labels mean

“AI use” refers to the creator’s own disclosure. The detail page separates the kind of assistance—such as code, artwork, audio, or text, from any tool the creator names. An unnamed tool stays unnamed. A statement about AI music does not show how the code was written, and a development tool does not tell you whether a game will suit you.

These listings have not been independently playtested. There are no invented player counts, session lengths, ratings, or “tested” badges. “Recently added” refers to when a listing joined this collection, not the game’s release date.

Links, prices & controls

Play links open the creator’s release page in a new tab. Oddplay does not host or automatically start the games. The creator’s page has the current download options, requirements, prices, and terms.

A browser version is a play format, not a promise of phone compatibility. Controls appear only when the source describes them. Unlisted controls and languages remain unknown. Demos are labelled separately from free complete releases; where a demo and paid full game coexist, the distinction remains visible. Information may change after the source check.

Images & credit

Covers and screenshots come from the creators’ public release pages. Each game credits its creator and links back to the image source. Cover images are cached unaltered and screenshots come from the linked creator pages. They remain the property of their respective owners. Public availability does not grant a redistribution licence, and this collection claims no official permission or endorsement.

The directory’s code adapts the MIT-licensed c00d Astro Directory by Alexiuz AS. Its licence covers the template code, independently of the game images and content.

Corrections & suggestions

If a fact needs another look, use the correction link on its game page or save a suggestion below. Suggestions stay in this browser, with delete and JSON export controls. They are not sent to an editor or added to the public directory. Saved games also stay in the current browser; there is no account or cross-device sync.
